Buzz marketing, or just buzz, is a viral form of marketing that evokes interactions between consumers and users of a product or service that amplifies or modifies the original marketing message. These emotions, energies, excitement or expectations about a product or service can be positive or negative. Buzz can be generated by the brand owner’s deliberate marketing activities, or it can be the result of an independent event that reaches the public through social or traditional media such as newspapers.
